All Students in grades PreK-12 will have access to a digital device to support both in person instruction and remote learning.
If a family needs internet connectivity, they can contact the district by completing the appropriate form on parent portal.
Teachers will receive professional development related to the hybrid model of instruction and remote learning during the first three days of the school year and on a consistent basis throughout the year.
There will be workshops for families to assist in supporting remote learning and helping the student in the home setting.
Please follow the Remote learning protocol guidelines which will be available with the documents that must be signed on parent portal prior to the start of the school year.
REMOTE LEARNING
Lessons will be live streamed via
Teams
and will also be recorded. They will be uploaded for students to refer to or to access if they did not participate in live learning during the required schedule blocks of time.
Students will be provided with a daily schedule to indicate when to sign into remote learning for their grade level.
Parents/ students will be expected to sign a learning agreement to adhere to the district’s requirements for student participation when learning remotely. Guidelines for parents/students will be provided.
Attendance will be taken daily and for each class period for all students for both in-person instruction as well as remote learning. Instructions will be provided to students and families.
