Curriculum

Courses currently being offered in the Garfield School District are available for public viewing.

The district curriculum is a living document and as a result, curriculum revision is is is on-going, dynamic and flexible; with opportunities for continuous improvement based on students’ instructional needs that are aligned with state student learning standards.

The available curriculum provides an overview of each course and the main focus of each unit,  rather than the details of what is taught on any given day. The pacing guides for each unit are built with flexibility allowing the teacher to adjust time on topic based on the needs of the learner.
